I just checked out your link Jerome. Fascinating instrument. The lines from The Beatles, Back in the U.S.S.R sprang to mine. "LET ME HEAR YOUR BALALAIKA'S RINGING OUT..." Although, it's a strange thing but I've known of the instrument for years, but never actually thought to research what one looks like. It's like a huge Wigwam with strings. lol! The orchestra playing "Yesterday," was impressive and such a relaxing, peaceful sound. It's incredible to think an instrument with only 3 strings can create such beautiful sounds!
