that's as simple as it gets. lets talk festivals.
which ones do you think have the best lineup?
which ones are you going to go to?
are there any bands you don't see on the lineups but wanna go see..
and all the other questions that go with them!
give me your thoughts people!

i rarely go to festivals unless there are several artists i want to see performing...see "west coast blues and roots" thread for the latest festival i went to.

I've only been to two festivals. I went to the Warped Tour one year mainly to see Joan Jett

And last year I went to see the first annual Orlando Calling show. I had to see the Avett Brothers and the Pixies! However I prefer little dingy clubs to see bands than huge festivals with music going on in 3 or 4 different places at once. I hate having to choose which bands I'm going to miss.

I agree Trace ! I prefer one on one concerts where there's a main attraction and two or three supporting groups. We don't get many festivals up here.

THanks for the welcome! I am one of those rare people who actually likes all music.. I mean I prefer certain types but they are far apart on the genre spectrum, if you know what I mean. I jam out to classic rock but I also love to dance my ass off to dubstep/electronica stuff! I think thats probably why I'm a festival freak, cause I can usually find soo many different bands to listen to all in a day! I mean, what is more awesome than that?!

Well as for being broke.............I can relate. And festivals do happen to be a way to see a lot of bands for one price. When I went to Orlando Calling I paid a bout a $100 dollars for my ticket but if I had seen all the bands I saw separately it would have been a LOT more so that's kind of a good point.
