Hi all, my name is Ian and I am currently being taught to read sheet music by my 11 year old son and feel privileged to be in such a position. My son was bought a keyboard for his birthday and he's been using this as a basis to teach me, transferring the knowledge to me that he's learnt from school. I essentially want to play the acoustic guitar, but for now I'm happy in the fact that I've learnt 6 simple tunes in the space of 4 weeks and can play them from memory. I'm very passionate about music and have always loved to sing as well. I hope to combine the two together later on and continue to benefit from the positive aspects of learning to play a musical instrument. I practice for between 30 minutes to an hour every day (give or take a couple

However, I know that this will take a long tine with continued practice but I know that the joy that I will experience from acheiving this will be unparralled.
