Fritz the cat was a cartoon film with an adult theme although criticised by some it also made a few valid social comments, the music was brilliant various artists including billie holiday, bo didley and charles earland, the watson sisters ,a mixture of blues jazz and funk. really good soundtrack album.

We have a poster for the movie in our bathroom in the bar downstairs. First saw Fritz in college. You are right about the tunes in it!

The sequel to Fritz the cat was the nine lives of fritz the cat again the music was a great mix of jazz and soul/funk. I dont have much information about the soundtrack I wonder if there was an album for this one.
