your christmas gifts
#1
so,
with the international dateline location places like Fiji,New Zealand, Australia etc get christmas before you guys in europe and the US...

so thought it would be a good idea to post what we all got for christmas and if it was what you hoped for...

so i'll start off...

$100 for cds from my parents
$150 for cds from Dani
along with an Elvis calender and a KISS t-shirt...

i knew she would come through with my cd voucher even though she said she wouldnt....

so i got what i wanted and not what i needed...again! phew!

now, the cd vouchers may seem like a lot of money, but cds here are double the price of the UK and almost triple the price of the US so i guess its the equivelant of $80US, 110UK pounds as an educated guess.

Music wise...got a voucher as well. Problem is....CH is gonna follow me around and tell me not to buy what I'm looking at 'cos he already has that one! Might have to get a dvd of a live concert instead ;-)

Other than that...my main prezzies ...a new mobile phone, a $200 voucher from my favourite piercing salon YAY...more piercings on the way..., jewellery, fishing gear, pampering products etc etc etc...was spoilt rotten!

Had a great day..spent with my kids at my ex's house...best part is my CH was with me there too...accepted as a new family member :-) thats what Christmas is all about...being with your loved ones...and that I was!

Hope you all have a safe and memorable day and it continues on throughout 2012

yeh, Dani's ex and i get on pretty well...got a $50 voucher from him, then i got a $30 voucher from Dani's mum today...thats a whoppong $330 for cds...choices and decisions are a bitch sometimes!....the average retail price for cds here is $30, luckily for me Corey puts the prices down anywhere from $10-$15 for me, so thats probably anywhere from 15-30 cds...and no, Jerome, the Pink Floyd boxset is not on the list!

Sounds like you two had a great Christmas! We did here as well in Florida. Spent this year with my family. My kids got everything they asked for and more. The little money grubbers each have about $100 in gift cards to go shopping with too!

Santa wa generous this year I must say ! $125.00, anywhere from 6-12 CDs or maybe a few DVD concerts ? Grandkids gave me a CD - The Beatles - 27 song compilation, so couldn't go wrong.
