TIM FINN "the view is worth the climb"

as much as i loathe the thought of a Finn album being classed as "pop" it does seem to fit more here than in "alternative"!!!!after several listens i find this album to be very much in the same vein as Tim's two previous outings with brother Neil as The Finn Brothers, it is a light easy flowing group of songs that flow easy on the ears.it also appears to owe a bit to the sound of Crowded House in parts. this,however, is not a dissapointment, in fact it is more a relief that the elder Finn is now comfortable enough with his back catalogue to just be who he is on disc and not trying to distance himself.he also appears to realise how far he can push his voice without making it sound forced......all in all a very good album and one of the best of his career as a solo artist.
