As of the 20th August 2011. MD has had a facelift. Although still keeping with the green colour that is associated with the site...

I also like the " new aesthetica (spic)" green ! That's the heading that I saw as soon as I logged in after the MD upgrade was done in case one is wondering about the "aesthetica green" !

Green is my favorite color and I think this might be better, not sure. Still checking it all out and taking it all in. I voted 'an improvement ' as well.
