ok guys, i know a couple of you know i am going on holiday as from thursday this week for four weeks, but i will still be able to access the site.
for those of you who dont know, i am going to the US and thanks to the generousity of Mr & Mrs Music Head i will be basing myself in their home.
together Music Head and i will be going to some great musical places on interest including R&R and Country Halls of Fame,Johnny Cash Museum,Graceland,Sun Records and other place of musical note around Nashville and Memphis, plus numerous other places of interest that takes our fancy....i would like to say i'd like to be in Memphis for the Anniversary of Elvis Presley's death but it may not pan out that way.
i will use this thread to post our journey's and experiences through whatever States we get to.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of poverty and no taste
CH is about to find that out first hand.
I am really looking forward to this visit.
Hard to imagine hooking up with someone from some distant place on the globe that you have only corresponded with via computer.
Just hoping my humble surroundings are not what he judges this magnificent country by.
A lot to see here and though we may only make it to a tiny fraction of it, I'm hoping it will be a good time for us both.
After all, we're going to Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee, to see poor boys and pilgrims with families.
Other sites he mentions will be on the schedule, and who knows what else may draw us in.
As far as the home site, the wife and I will certainly open our home to him, and the daughter and grandkids are in the next house.
Hoping at the end of this he will consider my family his family.

the music is everything I have said.
only problem is you may have to lug the boxes out to look at them.
The only dissapointment will be the lack of Elvis.
That would be so much fun for me, going through someone elses collection.

I hope you both have a great time, and look forward to hearing about your adventures together.
BTW, I second Jerome's AHM suggestion...
