yep!
i have had a couple of expensive days lately,
firstly last friday two tyres burst on my car and had to get new tyres for my car,:frown:
secondly my fuel gauge stopped working in my car and i ran out of fuel,
thirdly on my way home at four thirty today my alternater died in my car near a mates house, so im staying with his family tonight, hopefully getting my car fixed tomorrow which means i cant work and being self employed it'll cost me a days pay.
and to cap it off he has a crappy old laptop that is so slow its frustrating to use.
thus while im here all i have musicwise is my ipod and they have no cd's or music of any kind to listen to.:blah:
...on the bright side my week can only get better

I know the feeling and the cure
Go to the fridge and take out a beer...............pour into glass.............drink !
Whilst drinking realise that it is all behind you now and there is very little that can't be fixed.
Place good CD in drive , play, relax and enjoy.
Think about all the good things in life!
Feel more positive and go on!
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

1:15pm and the alternator is fixed, cost $289 to buy one and my mate who is handy with cars fitted it and degreased my engine for $50.
the only thing i know about cars is where to put the fuel/gas...yet i can construct a house from the ground up to completion...horses for courses i guess.

I have to admire you....I'm good with cars and things like that up to a point, but having restored a derlict house/barn to form a B and B and had to use contractors to do most of it I wish I could say I could build a house.............................

My friend, have I had a week full of problems similar to your day! I skipped the beer and pulled out my stashed bottle of Jim Beam and some ice. And quite frankly now that everything has passed, I have a few days to myself and I found a new bottle of Jim Beam!! And my pipe and some smoking time, which I can't wait for. Look past the bad, and onto the good. It sounds stupid, but life throws this at us all the time.. and we always come out on top (well, unless you die. But that is rather misfortune lol)
