Grounding necessary?
#1
Gentlemen, I have mounted the Trailblazer on a trailer. I need to make some repairs to the trailer. I could remove the welder after two hours of fighting, which I would like to avoid. Do I need ground the welder to avoid burning up the circuit boards before making the repairs to the trailer? I am open to suggestions.

DO WE HAVE A WELDING STORIES SECTION ON MD ??????????????????????

Moved to correct section.

No, we don't have a welding stories section. Why would we ??

I refer you to Neil Young's album, 'Weld'. Just follow the lyrics and all will become clear - really!
Alternatively you can start a band called 'Welders in Wedding Dresses'
