as much as i am against refugees coming to Australia, it is terrible to sit here and watch 30+ iranian/iraqi refugees drowning as their boat sunk off the nth.west coast of Western Australia today.

I heard the post-event interview with an Aussie (?) woman who witnessed it on the radio at lunchtime. She sounded traumatised...

Here in the mainland of the EU , all boarders are redundant and you can have free movement through out most of Western Europe .................it has changed things ...there is better integration , more scope for cultural exchange ....less worry about where you are from ........................Johnny L was right..............however some people still take some persuading
