does anyone know why the message 'this video not available in your country' occasionally comes up on youtube,ive had it several times over the last year, and now that Ed got it also the other day i guess it happens everywhere, :confused:, is there government censorship on youtube? i can understand China doing it with their restrictions to information,but us here, in western countries with music videos???

Was wondering if it had anything to do with the record label, if the clip is a video produced by the label.

Your computer interacts with the site and in doing so it exchanges an IP address...........The IP address is a finger print which shows where your computer most likely is in the world.....................As copyright varies so much in the world , some sites have decided to limit access to those parts of the world they feel they can not control..............................It is possible to change the IP address but that is another story !!

i understand what youre saying,but its stupid to say the least,because i can go on another site and purchase the song/album i like, why is there no conflict with that....surely if the companies can get 'free' exposure all over the world and they choose not to, then they are cutting off their noses...!

Some times video does not show in specific countries.
