Hi Everybody
I look forward to a decent music discussion. I basically adore all music APART from anything X-Factor/American Idol or teeny bopper pop related i.e. Osmonds, Bay City Rollers etc.
My favourite styles are more Leftfield based and am just getting into new Shoegaze at the moment and hope people look out for artists like Tears Run Rings.
My favourite artists are The Cure, Talk Talk, John Martyn, David Sylvian, Simple Minds, Massive Attack, Mark Hollis, Scott Walker, Radiohead, Miles Davis, Portishead, Davy Graham, Nick Drake and the Talking Heads. Also I'm a big fan of artists like Boards of Canada, Black Dog, Montag and Aphex Twin.
I am also into DJing and play downtempo style music utilising artists from Thievery Corporation, Tosca, Plaid, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Nightmares On Wax and Mr Scruff. Also I love Dub and Reggae including artists like King Tubby, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Mikey Dread and Horace Andy.
