Really like these guys. And not a single man bun among them, imagine that??!! Lol! 100% unpretentious and pretty damn good at what they do IMHO. So strange how regular dudes have become unusual. Delighted to see there are still some around!
Rock, yes, plus a bit of fusion going on, and some funk – and very loosely speaking (lest I wax sacrilegious), not too far removed from a post punk Steely Dan kinda vibe. Also, extremely oddly, puts me in mind of Billy Joel – to a degree – maybe it’s the stories, or perhaps I have finally lost the plot altogether! An album to look forward to – yay! Produced by Jonathan Wilson, who has his moments, and which doesn’t entirely surprise me – he has a definitive signature. Good honest sounds and something of a 70's feel.
The new album is titled Misadventures of Doomscroller (which I suspect we all have the propensity to be, especially of late!)
