Well , when I die , as it goes I would not acutally have a funeral . Waste of money if you ask me . Just box me up and push me into that furnes .
However that has never stoped me thinking about what music I would have if I did . Certainly it would not be a case of singing hyms and all that . For what I can gather they normally go for three songs , well they did at my mothers funeral . So for me , it would be as follows .
I Am What I Am / By Gloria Gaynor
American Pie / By Madonna
End Of The Line / By The Traveling Wilburys
What are all you others out there going for ? :blah:

Fair play to you all so far who have responded . Admitidly I am not familier with some of the mentioned songs but then whatever the case , this is one subject where I will knock no one's choices . After all this is a thing that means a great deal to the individual .
A point that has come up in a private discussion , I was thinking of the service itself , however it has been mentioned in passing about the wake aferwords which is a good point . Never thought of that one . So don't anybody be afriad to mention on area also if one so desires .

Always think of songs for this occasion.
Some would be thought of as inappropriate, but mine would be a both happy and sad occasion. Plus people would freak out. It would be well remembered.
Another would be Jim Carrolls People Who Died
