Spotify listen:
an 'archive' series release.
recorded in 74-75 but shelved in favour of "Zuma"...
songs sound like they should from that era of Uncle Neil,
their folky/country and could have fitted on everything from Harvest to Zuma.
several tracks have been released through the years on other albums like the title track,
"little wing", "white line" which was grunged up for Ragged Glory in the 1990s and two of my favourite
tracks of his in "love is a rose" and "star of Bethlehem"
this album is all class and anyone who loves 1970s Neil Young will love this one.
“Sgt Pepper did its thing it was the album of the decade, maybe the Century.
It was innovative with great songs, I’m glad I was on it but the ‘White’ album ended up a better album for me.” Ringo Starr

#2 on debut in the UK this week, only the eleventh time he has hit the UK top10 in his 50+ year career.
#17 on debut in Australia this week, pretty good considering all we have is digital sales at the moment, no physical copies available.
#5 in New Zealand on debut.

I'm sure I would have appreciated this in the mid 70's
hippie music for sure
being familiar with most of these it's like a remake album for me
which I'm not a fan of
would never buy this but it was a nice listen
and what's up with that stupid Florida thing
fav is Star Of Bethlehem for obvious reasons
