CHRIS REA ~ One Fine Day

Artwork by the man himself - released in October this year. Some reworkings and three previously unreleased tracks, as follows:
  1. ‘Do You Still Dream’ – The original recording of the song. Re-recorded for the 1982 ‘Chris Rea’ LP
  2. ‘Loving You’ – The original recording of the song. Re-recorded for the 1982 ‘Chris Rea’ LP
  3. ‘One Fine Day’ – Released as the b-side on ‘Soft Top, Hard Shoulder’ single in 1993
  4. ‘One Sweet And Tender Touch’ – The original recording of the song later issued on the 1988 single Que Sera. It was re-recorded for the 1982 ‘Chris Rea’ LP
  5.  ‘If I Ever Break Free’ – A previously unreleased song
  6. ‘Sierra Sierra’ – Originally issued as a B side on 12” version of Let It Loose in 1983
  7. ‘Members Only’ – A previously unreleased song
  8. ‘Let Me Be The One’ – First appeared as a B side on the 1981 single ‘Loving You’
  9. ‘One Night With You’ – A previously unreleased song
I love Chris Rea. Amen!

Seriously – listening to this made me feel happy, even when he errs on the side of cheesy and it’s a bit of a mishmash, I don’t care. Totally biased. Big Grin

The whole lot … https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OL...-YtQ47-VDo

The final track ...

i guess we are all in agreeance in our assessment of Mr Rea...a class act.

to answer your question MH:

he has had serious health issues since 1994 including:

peritonitis

stomach ulcers

pancreatic cancer.

also diabetes

all these mean he takes more than 30 tablets a day plus numerous injections

and to add to that he had a stroke in 2016 which left him with slurred speech and loss of movement in his arms/fingers
