Without a doubt for me, my vote goes to A Night At The Opera. One of the best concerts I have ever attended was in Cincinnatti Ohio when this album came out. A memorable performance from the boys, and I was more impressed with Brian May than Freddie. The contact high may have had an influence. They did do tracks from previous albums but of course Opera was the main event, and I thus became devoted follower. Have to confess I have not heard the last 2 albums, but it's not possible they could be better than A Night At The Opera.

btw I did not include the Flash Gordon soundtrack or the Paul Rodgers era in this poll.

Paul Rodgers....please.....

#4
Sheer Heart Attack for me.

Heard this whilst still at school, and soon bought my own copy. In fact, although I'd bought albums before this, SHA marked the start of my interest in "proper" music.

There are some of the later records that I haven't heard, but like Music Head, I doubt they're good enough to sway my vote...

Flash Gordon soundtrack is pretty good. Not my favourite of Queen, but I would listen to it.
With Regards...
