I'm interested in gaining any knowledge I can from everyone willing to chat with me here.
I've kinda hit a road block in locating music. I've developed an addiction to bizarre folk offshoots, and there don't seem to be many that steer clear of generic. So heres my question for all of you:
Do you know of any bizarre mellow/folk/alt country/ambient etc musicians?
(heres the kind of thing I'm thinking)
Murder by death,
Okkervil river,
Bon Iver,
Rocky Votolato,
The new amsterdams,
William Elliott Whitmore.
Its a broad scope relatively speaking,.. but it still seems hard to stock up on it.
