^^I listened CH – just haven’t had the time to post a reply. I’ll take all his releases anyway, but think this one is a step up from Tracker – super chilled out but still edgy and interesting – very blues oriented and quite funky in places too – many layers. Love the guitar breaks which are so spot on and not showy – nothing else like it. Nice delicate keys here and there, cool sax and great narrative – absolutely nothing not to like … a lot! Clever Mr K.

on the portion of the post which I highlighted...MK is one of a handful of artists whom I would purchase without listening to an album,

only him, Neil Finn and Elvis Costello have never let me down with their albums

One of a handful of artists whose music I will buy without ever having heard it. Always delivers. A class act.

enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at #15

courtesy of Spotify

seems the word class comes up often with Mr. K
that describes the album very well
sad to say I have no solo album
proud to say I have all Dire Straits albums
the man just left my radar for some reason
only 1 track on here I did not like, Slow Learner
that single posted above is my fav
