Blackfoot "southern native"

online Spotify listen:

never heard of them....
but they've been around since the 1970s according to
their Wiki page...
hard rock/soft rock/Americana/Southern Rock/Blues Rock
are all labels that have been attached to their music and
most of it appears on this album...
vocalist has a decent rock voice, maybe something like
the original vocalist or Journey maybe...
well, Journey came to mind first for some reason but im not a fan
and haven't heard much of their music, so if I got the vocals wrong...sue me!
a couple of hard-ish rock tracks on here, some straight up rock
and roll, nice ballads also...
im guessing at least one of the guys in the band must be of Native American origin
because all the do-gooders would be up in arms about the exploitation
of American Indians and would most certainly demand compensation!
anyway,
a pretty good album from one listen, and a very very good album from a band
who must have peaked somewhere in the 1980s!

strange thing is, their Wiki says they've been around decades, yet, the guys in the
video don't look like theyre in their 60s let alone 50s???

come to think of it....
a few close ups of the band members do show their age, maybe one or two aren't originals, or maybe only one or two are originals??

I dont have anything by Molly Hatchet, should I?

have a couple of Outlaws albums on vinyl, cant recall the titles, one was pretty good, the other, average so I never went back or thirds...

Skynyrd have one on vinyl and a compilation, not a bad band, had it not been for Sweet Home Alabama/Free Bird they'd have disappeared pretty quick IMO
