because I am a Genesis fan
just never cared for his solo stuff
not even the Motown covers, which I know you love

I preferred Genesis with Phil Collins in the lead vocal role but I have to say Peter Gabriel's solo stuff is just brilliant. If you want to see innovation in a live performance watch his 'Secret World' DVD. Superb. In a class of it's own.

Phil's solo stuff is pretty dry IMHO! The original Genesis was fantastic!
