Hello From Chicago
#1
This seems like a perspicacious place to talk about music. Yes, I just learned that word.

Let's see here...

Name: Patrick
Age: 49
Musical Interests: Pretty much everything, Jazz, Classical, Pop, Blues, Country, R&B, Motown, Rock, Metal (with the exception of a lot of blast beat and growl stuff), and all the other genres and sub genres that seem to be ever widening in scope.

Glad to be here, hopefully I can broaden some of mine and others musical boundaries through discussion and insight.

Although I've probably watched every episode with (and without) my daughter, I'm more of the other variety. Food for larger organisms.

I'd post links, but I'm still fresh. Here's some examples that come to mind:

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata
Resphigi's Pines of Rome
Paganini Caprice No.24
Frans Schubert has a few good ones too.

For jazz, it's all about Miles Davis and John Coltrane, but I'm more into Frank Gambale for his incredible guitar chops.
