It doesn't matter that she is or isn't a junky - I have just watched a number of her videos at YouTube and personally think she is just a plain shit singer and I wouldn't waste my money on her concerts, or recordings.
She just ain't worth it!

Considering she recently won so many awards for her music achievements, you represent a small majority.

I do believe that you may mean a 'small minority' (not majority) and that's fine. I can live with that and she still can't sing - awards or not! :coffee:
And I am not, as I said previously, taking into account her 'habits'! That is for someone else to comment on.

Could not agree more... talentless.
McDonalds sell tons of cheeseburgers but that does not automagically make their food good. What is popular, and what is quality are often not the same thing.
Many awards handed out to musicians and actors are complete nonsense.

Mine and my late wife's preferences were for Jazz and Blues.
H0wever, they also extended to all 'good' music - a category that I don't feel Amy Winehouse falls into under any circumstances.
If you want to check out my own singing abilities and make comment, then you are most welcome and will find links to a few of the things I've done on my Website at http://www.beachblues.org/recordings.html, at http://youtube.com/beachblues, http://www.myspace.com/beachblues, or this recording that was made recently at my 56th birthday in Canberra - http://www.beachblues.org/musicbeach/200...rblues.mp3
