touching heartfelt speeches by Annie Lennox and Bowie's good friend Gary Oldman...
performance by Bowie's studio band with Lorde on vocals...
Oldman says that Bowie once said that "Lorde is the future of music", so I guess if he said that then she is
the right person to do the job at hand....
I think Gaga's tribute was very good at the Grammy's...very 'out there' like a lot of David's personas
but the Brtis topped it with their classy tribute speeches and Lorde's classy subdued performance
but what do you guys think????

^Oh yes.
Much more respectful.
Emotional yet restrained performances by everyone on stage â perfect.
Lorde is truly edgy which may have helped her to transmute something of the essence of Bowie; also, she was genuinely feeling it IMHO. By comparison, Gagaâs tribute seems simply brash.
