Late last month we laid to rest the heart and soul of a downbeat city's music community. A killer player and leader (top 10 trumpeter ever? Yes.), known in large part for his Motown playing. The NY Times has a nice homage: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/27/arts/m...at-78.html His Site: http://www.marcusbelgrave.net/ << Opens with music. Mr. Belgrave is a hero to me--the kind of human, too-little-heralded, who makes the world a more stable, better place. He'll be missed and never replaced. Goodbye, Bro.

A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
