So what concerts are you guys going to this summer? Or for that matter what concerts have you gone too?

I've been to 16 concerts in the past..5 years?

I missed out on The Summer Slaughter Tour (Ensiferum, Winds Of Plague, Origin, Born of Osiris, Blackguard, After the Burial, Dying Fetus, Beneath The Massacre, Necrophagist, Suffocation & Decrepit Birth) because concerts are currently difficult for me to afford.

However, I DO have tickets to go to this summer's Mayhem Fest, which I'm extremely excited for. (Slayer, Bullet For My Valentine, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Job For A Cowboy,... the list goes on) Only a few days left to go..

immortaloldschool - I saw Flogging Molly at Warped Tour a few years back. :happy: Easy to tell they have an amazingly large following, no? The entire pit erupted the second they started playing.

Hem- yeah I know. It was the same there. The crowd went crazy as soon as they started to play Drunken Lullabies. There was this guy in the crowd, he was hammered and had a beer in his hand, no shirt, and this big overhang stomach with lots of tattoos. And he was trying to like irish dance or something. It was hilarious. No body wanted to get too close to him.

i've never been to a real big concert but i've been to local shows..... @hem & immortaloldschool- i've been trying to hit up warp tour for years!! i heard this year over here in oregon they'll have escape the fate, chiodos, silverstein, etc.. some of my favorite bands!!

Warped Tour. The lineup was great this year.

I was going to see Tool, but then I found out that Dream Theater was playing the same day, and I couldnt make up my mind. Missing out on both =[

immortaloldschool - Now THAT would've been a site to see. Can't say I blame him though for breaking out in Irish dance; that's a good song.

bryce - Are you going to that Warped Tour? Because you should. It's definitely an experience. It feels and looks just like a fair only with bands.

You said you've never been to a big show, but the local ones. I'm just the opposite. The only local show I saw was actually Escape The Fate (with Ronnie), Blessthefall (with Craig) and LoveHateHero. That was something I wish I could do more often. The connection between band and crowd is so much more intimate.

@hem- it's not too hard for me considering i know alot of new beginning bands. ...... and unfortunately i don't think i can go this year either. money is running very tight lately so unless i can get a good job very soon i don't have the moola for it.
