Glyn Johns' new memoir
Arguably the most important engineer of the British Invasion era (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix live, John Hiatt, Howlin' Wolf, etc. etc.), he was also a producer. Mr. Johns has a book about those lives and times and his place in it--they emphasize it's not a "kiss and tell" book Here's a NYTimes article interview with him.: The book is widely available including eReader editions for about $20.
A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
What he said. Amen, Bro--JazzboCR
Thx for the tip - a must-read for me.
