Brilliant series about an immoral but not amoral, multiply-addicted, Edge-City lawyer in Sidney, NSW, Australia. A gem. This needs being said: it is raw, with women's upper bodies exposed (and guys' buns), graphic photos sometimes and hard choices wrestled with, in very salty language. Great stories, great writing, great players including actors Aussie's will be familiar with. BONUS for guys like me: a moral/metaphysical question underlies each episode--easy to ignore if you just want to get with the story and the playing. Available on, at least, Netflix. What IMDB says: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587000/?ref_=nv_sr_2
This was adapted very successfully for US TV with Greg Kinnear. Excellent, and you are urged to see that as well.

My deep apologies to the citizens of that fair city and everyone in New South Wales. Proves one thing though--I'm read closely.

lol...a non Aussie probably wouldnt have picked up on it jazzy, but still...ive tried to research the series youre talking about, and cant find it anywhere here...
maybe it was an Aussie produced show made for the US market???
i know an old series called Jag was US made but produced for the Aussie market...ie: failed terribly with your tv ratings and was dropped, but because of its popularity "down under" they kept on making it for here...same thing, maybe????

im sure the good people of Sydney would rather have their name spelt incorrect than be mistaken as being "Victorians" or "Melbourne-ites"....huge rivally between the two States!
i guess West Virginians may not like being Called Virginians, and the good people of the Carolina's etc....or Canadian's being referred to as Americans etc....lol

Jag failed in it's first season NBC
it was then picked up by CBS where it ran for 9 seasons
helped spawn all this CSI bs we have now

i watched a few minutes of it, but it was an English version of the series.
