Really? People listen to broadcast radio stations? How quaint, how 20th Century.-Bet they wouldn't do those mashups /cuts if the music was truly original. Just my guess...

also....
the "decreasing attention span" comment in the article doesnt ring true to me as teenagers can sit down for hours at a time playing stupid x-box etc and have the capacity to spend all day on FB and txt-ing eachother... now that takes concentration!

Stairway to Heaven can never be shortened among many other great songs...music purists have faith! The intent was to eliminate repetitive choruses and guitar solos....????...a bad idea ????...I am not sure at this stage nor do I really care...I have Music Discussion !!!!!
