Bro SteveO--Not looking to start a war but while he may have listened to Wagner and the earlier North German organ masters, he was not suffocated by their enveloping cloud. My advice? Get your stuff--I listened to 4 pieces on SoundCloud--into the hands of a progressive small-city ork somewhere or a record company looking for advanced material (I have nobody in mind in either category) OR a post-modern jazz group who'd take that base material to really swell places (say, for example, Skerik) OR...what you will. I was moved by the other SoundCloud suggested artists--if this is a movement, I applaud it. One thing: How about a little grittier edge some of the time? And "hooks" aren't your enemy...
