What do you all think about the use of Autotune on records? When i listen to pop radio these days it seems that almost
all of the today singers are using it too much . The problem is i focus on it and i hear it . It sounds so unnatural to me .
Sometimes i can understand it when a band wants to use it as an effect like Kevin Parker does in Tame Impala .
But here in Holland i hear Michael Bublé a lot on the radio and when i listen to him it s too much Autotuned and not nice to my ears ,
even though i know he can sing well .

Most of the time it's because the singers can't really sing. They have paid to get in the spotlight such as Taylor Swift (queen of autotone). It's like Merle Haggard said these days they don't have to be in key, they will put the "singers" in key. Shameful and more shameful that alot of fans are supporting these "singers"!!

If someone has to use Autotune it means they cannot keep pitch so they cannot really be called singers. That's why at those live concerts none of these 'artists' are actually singing - just miming. Must be bloody boring for them. And the sheep that go to these concerts think they are getting value for their money. There's one born every minute.......

Exactly!! That why I wrote singers like this "singers". They are not really singers. Just call themselves that.

Of course she does!! I read over on youtube that this dude said she could not carry a tune with a forklift. Actually thought it was funny!!
