Greetings everyone!

New member here.

I'm a fan of 1970's prog rock such as Yes, ELP, Genesis, Triumvirat, Gentle Giant, etc.

Also a huge Tool fan. And Rush.

Love classical, too, especially Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky.

I'm looking for suggestions for some classical guitar type of stuff, but with a contemporary feel. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi there - try Richard Harvey's Concerto Antico with the brilliant John Williams playing guitar. It's gorgeous. This is the first movement ...

Signal choice--I quite enjoyed it. A concert version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNc5o9TU0t0 << they have also covered Metallica and there are even concert clips of Robert Trujillo of Metallica joining them.
If you enjoyed that, here a full 1-1/2 hour concert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls72UT1HsP0 << uploader has attached a song list. Enjoy!
