what's up with that?

Icona Pop feel on this one, whose members Tove is aquainted with
the girl also has a Pink sound on some tracks
it is dance/pop for the most part but with good lyrics
single of Habits has already made some waves
but plenty of others are better for me
a lot of singles potentials on this
includes two remixes which sucked

Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo was born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson on October 29, 1987 in a suburb of Stockholm. Beginning to write poetry and
short stories at a young age, she went on to study at the famous Rytmus Musikergymnasiet -- a music-oriented high school comparable to the
U.K.'s BRIT School -- where she met and befriended the future members of Icona Pop. After singing in the band Tremblebee, made up of students
from the school, and a spell playing one-man-and-his-dog nightclub gigs as frontwoman of a math rock band, she decided to focus on her own
songs, spending six months in her shed studio working on a demo. Upon the occasion of a party celebrating Icona Pop's first record deal, she
used the opportunity to foist her demo on a staff member at their label, leading to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and a trip to L.A. to
work with fellow Swede and pop songwriting/production supremo Max Martin.

Lo gradually developed her own idiosyncratic style of epic, electronically tinged songwriting with raw, brutally honest lyrics, influenced as
much by '80s pop as by contemporary EDM. In 2012 she self-released her debut single, "Love Ballad," a catchy, beat-driven pop track that
showcased her powerful voice. It was followed in 2013 by "Habits," a dark breakup anthem that generated such Internet buzz that it led to a deal
with Universal. "Habits" and its follow-up, "Out of Mind," which was much in the same vein, appeared on her debut EP for the label, Truth Serum,
in 2014. Later that year, her debut album Queen of the Clouds arrived, featuring "Habits" as well as other rawly confessional songs about love
and heartache.

Album Review - from allmusic

Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo followed her hit single "Habits (Stay High)" -- a disarmingly vulnerable recounting of all the shocking things
she does to numb a painful breakup -- with Queen of the Clouds, a debut album that falls somewhere between Icona Pop's sugar rush hedonism and
Sia's moody confessions. A good friend of Icona Pop's Caroline Hjelt (and co-writer of the group's "Ready for the Weekend"), like Sia, Tove
originally thought she'd have a better chance at a pop career by penning songs for others than in the spotlight herself. However, her
songwriting background ensures that Queen of the Clouds has plenty of hooks, as well as a high-concept approach: she organizes pop's eternal
concerns of lust, love, and heartbreak into a set of songs that breaks the span of an entire relationship into thirds. While the spoken-word
snippets that introduce each part of the album aren't strictly necessary, the format gives Queen of the Clouds more emotional resonance and
balance as it spans seize-the-moment highs such as the fizzy, P!nk-esque "Timebomb," the openness of "The Way That I Am," and the loss of
"Thousand Miles." Tove also proves her electro-pop has a similar range with songs that range from bouncy ("Not on Drugs") to sleek (the EDM
moves of "Run on Love"). However, it's Tove's frankness that makes her truly distinctive. "Habits (Stay High)," with its tales of going to sex
clubs and gorging on Twinkies, is still Queen of the Clouds' standout, although "Moments," where she admits "On the good days I am charming as
f*ck," is a close second. By owning her mistakes, she turns them into strengths -- and delivers a winning first album in the process.

guess I'll go with the first single:
