Not sure what prompted this buy as nothing stands out. Just steps into the like range. Sales were declining but the album still made #1. It has
the distinction of being the lowest sales of a #1 debut for the year. The Grotesk Burlesk Tour accompanied the release of this album, which was
a 9 month event and a huge success. Allmusic says of this "designed to be a modern update of German art, vaudeville, and decadent Hollywood
glamour of the '30s, all given a thudding metallic grind". How do they come up with this stuff? Guess you have to be behind the scenes.

Wraps up my Manson. Picked this most recent one up even after hearing it online. Must have been something that stood out at the time but I don't
know what it was. Just misses the like mark for now. Butchers up You're So Vain pretty good. That was one of those hidden bonus tracks. I found
it again. They don't ever hide these very good at all. This is Manson's first release on his own label after his entire previous output with
Interscope. Must be scary to step out on your own. But if you're Marilyn Manson you've probably surpassed the scare stage long ago. A tour
supported this album but it is his lowest selling yet. Wondering if the group left Interscope or Interscope left them. He'll probably show up as
a folk artist now.

i just noticed your Golden Age album doesnt have quite the same track listing as mine...???
my album contains an extra track over yours, a cover of Tainted Love(the old Soft Cell hit,but they covered it off someone else,cant think of her name though,thought she had a Marc Bolan connection though,maybe his g'friend or something???) so really Manson's is not a cover at all,but moreso a cover of a cover...
