Hereâs a thing â 'jam in a van'! Great play on words.
The Revivalists bear absolutely no resemblance to any of the brothers Gibb (well ⦠maybe a beard or two), and acquit themselves quite nicely with this cover, IMHO.

I was listening to Todd Rundgren and The New Cars which in turn led to Autoamerican. The first track - âEuropaâ ...

Thx for the wishes Ruby. Sorry, about the late reply - only just spotted this. Been watching your posts - I have a lot of the albums you have mentioned in various posts. Ever heard Strawbs 'Hero & Heroine?' If not, give it a whirl.

Watch the 'official' video. A message in there somewhere. The footage is taken in a town called Pripyat, a couple of kilometres from Chernobyl. Gilmour uses a device - I think it's called an 'octaver' to push the pitch past the boundaries of what is normally possible on an electric guitar. Always the innovators.

No problem! I own a lot of the albums I mention too, and if not, would like to! I have âHero and Heroineâ and âBursting at the Seamsâ and want to add âGhostâ and âNomadnessâ at some point - and âHeartbreak Hillâ if only for the wild title track. Wonderful stuff for proggy ears!

âRainbowâ from Robert Plantâs upcoming album âlullaby and ⦠THE CEASELESS ROARâ (yep, that how it is â lc/uc). Not fair to form an opinion without hearing the other tracks, but ⦠why am I reminded of U2??? Or is it just a Celtic sound, generally? I think this will gain a rapid following for its trancey beat and his still very distinctive voice.
