Now I gotta mention JJ Cale. He had several songs made famous by others notably "Cocaine" by Slowhand. No slacker as a player, was Mr. Cale.

There must be many Dylan songs made popular other than by Bob ! Forever Young was covered by Rod ....actually the song differs from Dylan's but in the end Rod agreed to share the royalties with Bob !...weird !...lol

When I saw this thread, I immediately thought of JJ. Great minds think alike I guess.
