Not exactly what you were looking for (and I wish you success in an overlooked instrument) but the uke has been mentioned here with vid clips: http://www.music-discussion.com/showthre...ht=ukulele << Either or both may be of assistance.
A piece not included in the above post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4B3q3eAEV0 << bowed bass and ukulele work so well together...
http://www.sarahmaisel.com/
http://www.geraldross.com/index.html
http://www.ukulele.org/ << Love the logo designs for the Uke Expos
And then there's : http://craigchee.com/ and http://jameshillmusic.com/

Good luck/skill and keep those fingers strumming/plucking/flying the fretboard. BTW--don't be shy, not here--got some vids of yourself to post?

a minor hijack: I'd never heard the Radiohead original (behind the curve, as 55 million others who have, have clicked) so was taken aback then enthralled by Ms. Palmer's version. What a voice, what a performance edge. Hope to hear more of her anguished but musical White blues.

Ukulele sales doubled between 2010 and 2012. Here are some pioneers and some modern devotees: Roy Smeck and Ukulele Ike, and Jake Shimabukuro and Taimane Gardner, with a very talented amateur coming up swiftly on the outside of the rail...Nicole Tan << lathered up and pounding hard

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8fQePz4FcE << Mr. Smeck was the absolute master on all stringed instruments and a giant in Hawai'ian music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H865uHF3WLg << Ukulele Ike aka Cliff Edwards
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxMVctFhO88

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PB3RbO7updc << with uke players, always expect the unexpected... Jake-san
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5EXVhL_kVI << what I said...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DS5fFa1WHg Ms. Taimane
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtQss68ayww << started at age 5--humbles me, too
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JX13LwnZss << She's got it all going on

About Nicole Tan: no doubt a skilled player, strapping on Moron5, Sara Bareilles and the like but her vids are home-brews and impossibly sweet (Saccharine x 5). Look her up on your own.
