Agree - their best work by far. This morning I am revisiting some Bad Company stuff. Desolation Angels first and then some of the other albums. Just middle of the road. straight out, rock n roll.

Billy's sixth album and maybe his third or fourth best selling. This was the follow up to Joel's hugely successful The Sranger, which put him on
the map. First one of four consecutive albums to go #1 here, Australia and Canada also made it #1, with the UK lagging behind with a #10. Only
two love tracks here for me which is below what I would expect. Those two were both singles, My Life (#3) and Honesty (#24). The album got Billy
2 Grammys for the year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Album Of The Year. Probably too much of a jazz influence on most of these tracks for
me, which was the intent, Freddie Hubbard's trumpet on Zanzibar, And the album/song title is reference to one of the NYC jazz centers mid
century. The album holds the distinction of being the first compact disc released by Sony Music.
