Ooh !! Goody, a poll...

Hi Liz, & welcome to Music Discussion.

Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with about half the stuff on your playlist, so am perhaps not best placed to pass judgement. That's not going to stop me from voting, though, and my vote is going to be a fence-sitter.

Of the music that I know, most is OK, so that's how I've voted.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out...

Everything but Radiohead is crap. In fact, those aren't the best Radiohead songs either.

Not all that great...

If it was me I'd want more variety - no two songs by the same artist. The songs do seem to work together. I think they have similar sounds but because I'm not familiar with all of the songs I don't know if the sequencing can be improved upon.

I personally find most of those bands only okay and a few I don't like at all (Greenday). I do not have suggestions as to what to substitute. I'm in favor of scrapping most all of them.

That being said if they're your favorites, and this is a playlist for you to listen to in your car, then what matters is it pleases you. Why do you need/want our opinions?

I think you know that's not true just from hanging out here. If you truly do not, listen to the Buzzcocks's Singles Going Steady collection.

dont really look at the buzzcocks as "pop punk" more hardcore to me

Okay, since Buzzcocks are 'hardcore': Greenday started Pop Punk? Hüsker Dü's Flip your Wig was released two years before Greenday was founded and All's Allroy's Sez was released two years before Greenday released their first album. Go figure.
