Willem Maker - Stars Fell on
Borrowed from a work colleague. He'd not heard of this guy until he heard the album playing in a local record store (Apparently these still exist...). I'd never heard of him either.
Rough & dirty Bluesy rock. Grew on me as it played.
Cadillacs & Dinosaurs - To Rape A Physicist
Exquisite French (cyber)grind.

Agoraphobic Nosebleed - Timelord One (Loneliness of the Long Distance Drug Runner) from Agorapocalypse (2009)
Virtuoso usage of the drum machine. Insane album.

Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Trout Mask Replica
&
The Rolling Stones - No Security
Both on iPod in the garden this PM.
Trout Mask Replica is a strange beast, and I regard my relationship with it as one that will slowly evolve over the years. There's definitely something interesting to it, but it's not an easy listen.
The Stones album is not rated, but it's an unavoidable truth that they can still play intuitively together, and I think this is better than its' reputation...
