It is not necessary to post as to why you voted the way you did, but it would be interesting to the rest of us.

With this poll I left off the last 3 albums in order to stay with 1 thread, and I thought those last 3 were insignificant to their work. If you think different, you may still vote for any of those albums. You will just have to vote in the form of a post rather than clicking on your favorite. Your vote will still be recorded.

Those 3 albums are:

Thrak
The Construction Of Light
The Power To Believe

#4
Gotta be the debut for me, which just blew me away.:hippie:

#5
I've always loved Starless & Bible Black...

As with much of their music, it's quite other-worldly and strangely melodic. Close second place to In The Court of The Crimson King.
#6
Our lowest turnout yet.
Guess that wasn't a good choice.
You don't know what you're missing.
Sorry
I get to pick one occasionally.

#7
The first album, In the Court of the Crimson King just spoke to me. Incredible acoustic tone and great counterpoint with the keyboard lines.

Egads, this is tough! You could ask me once a day for a week and probably get different answers. It's especially hard to choose given the differences between the eras. Even the Belew era, which doesn't get much attention, has had some great albums. For today, though, I'm going with Larks Tongues in Aspic. Very solid album
#9
Best King Crimson stuff is by the Crimson Jazz Trio. Period.
#10
In the Courtyard of The Crimson King. I know I wasn't born yet when it was released but I can only imagine how revolutionating it must have been! It's just so difference than the rest of the albums from that time, even though the first time i heard it was in 2009 i really was amazed. The album still has so much to offer, an instant classic!
