Discussion about Edith Piaf: The French singer.

You may know Miss Edith Piaf as the woman who sang a song from the movie "Inception."
The song began just before the "kick."
The name of the song is "non je ne regrette rien."
It is a beautiful song from the 1960s (I believe, don't hold me to it).
I figured I would start a discussion about this woman's beautiful voice, plus I am fond of French music.
I also love her song "l'homme a la moto". The percussion in it is magnificent.
So, comments? Posts? Replys?
I enjoy all. All are welcome (even if you don't like her, I just want to know your opinions).

I have a couple of CDs of her stuff, like them a lot, but Sound Quality on a lot her stuff is lacking. None the less her voice is to die for. I also have the soundtrack for the movie about her La Vie En Rose which includes her and some others singing her songs which are done quite well. The movie is well worth watching and is a fine tribute to her.

I know what you mean, but the plus side is that she has an exceptional voice. I will have to watch the movie, but when and the way they used her song Non je ne regrette rien was very well used in the movie Inception. Thank you for taking the time to write me back/reply to this!
