Volbeat are a hard rock band from Denmark. Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies is one of the best albums I have heard this year! Mike Poulsen is a dynamic vocalist and all tracks are original sounding uplifting hard rock! (except the intro - a short wonky blues harp number).
Knowing the disdain for the Danish band Aqua on MD by two esteemed members ..lol...their album Aquarium reached number 7 on the Billboard To 200 in 1997! Volbeat became only the second band from Denmark to crack the BB Top 200 charts in the Top 10 with this album!
