![[Image: 61BGK0M9F2L._SX300_.gif]](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61BGK0M9F2L._SX300_.gif) PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS "band on the run" cd,vinyl...1973 this is the album that turned McCartney into a fully bonefide solo artist from basically an average solo artist... most people would rate this one at the top of their favourite Macca albums of all time, but me, im not entirely rapped up with this album,\ yeh, sure its pretty good, but i think he has made at least ten solo sets that i think are better releases, not entirely sure that any of these tracks on here are great songs in any sense of the word.... there's nothing on here i dislike but also, nothing on here i love.... its just an average album and slightly overrated IMO... end result, an overall score of 2.0

I too am loving Bonnie, Mamas and Papas and as much as I love Macca, the title song being played to death, ruined it for me! I still love his first solo album!!!
