Ok. Here I go, although I would have done a top ten, if possible.
1. Monteverdi. 2. Palestrina 3. J.S. Bach 4. Vivaldi 5. Mozart. But then, and not inferior to the others: Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Faure', Mahler, Richard Strauss, Wagner (even though he was one big....better not say), Prokofiev, Debussy, Ravel, Mussorgsky, Puccini, Verdi....pretty extensive. Fact is, in one way or another abernector, I appreciate them all. I mean, I can go even further back and name Giovanni and Andrea Gabrieli, Orlando di Lasso, Don Gesualdo di Venosa, and oh boy, the list doesn't end.

Almost impossible for me to cite my Top anything in music except for The Beatles and jazz saxophonist Jan Garbarek!...lol...my top 5 classical was listed earlier in the thread but it could change without notice...lol
