I post this link. Beethoven's second movement from his 5th piano concerto. I hope you will all listen. You see, after having read his love letters, to unknown loved woman, I hear it in a totally new perspective. It contains all the sadness of his yearning for her, his not being able to post his letters in time, the touching humanity in them, especially whan he realizes he has no more time...he calls upon the vaults of heaven to hear his prayer, so that he might gaze upon his loved one, just one last time...and this beautiful piece speaks of his emotions, oh so strongly. It's all in this one piece. My god, what touching love letters. The most beautiful I have ever read. And this piano? It renders it all so effectively...

And so there should be (meaning), Techman. For that is what music should be...a reflection, intense and expressive, of our souls, hearts and minds. Maybe I'm too romantic or utopistic? Perhaps I am....and proud of it...

It blows my mind when I think of the tremendous repertoire of Beethoven's work...and all of the other master composers! The music sounds fresh and new and modern in many ways to me! As I said before, Monteverdi sounds so modern and he was from 500 years ago!...thanks again for the brilliant clip, Bell!
