sorry guys(and gals) for the downtime here at Music Discussion, but we had some issues with the host server, we have now changed to a more proffessional outfit who appear to offer what the others lacked in "service", this is obviously now corrected and we shouldnt have any more time offline in the foreseable future, so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused any/all members who have tried to log on over the last week!

i would also like to thank our respected 'original' owner Techman for his assistance in setting up the new server for us in order to keep this small but friendly site active....it is also great to announce to members that were around when Techman used to be here, and to newer members who may not have had the pleasure of knowing his prescence on the forum, that he has returned as a co-owner of the forum, and will also be around at times to deal with matters that affect the running of this small but great little forum we have here...

so, on behalf of everyone here i wish to extend my gratitude and warm thanks to Techman for again stepping up to the plate for Music Discussion!

It is good to be back, and see so many old friends The biggest change in my life is having a second child. Which this does not leave me with any more time, or sleep for that fact. :nod: But I will be on weekly and keep my face present and correct. For the technical future of Music Discussion. Well this is open for discussion. My first and most important job is to get MD working stable and remove the downtime problems. Well, the worst of the downtime problems have been fixed. But the site needs fixing to make it work faster and more stable. I will make changes over the coming days and weeks to address this. In the longer term, we want to find out your thoughts on improving MD and what else we can change. But please refer to crazy-horse other thread.
