To be followed by The Going's Easy - The Greatest Show on Earth. (Having a mid-life crisis!)
Gravy Train might be good, but a train of gravy on your white shirt after youve finished dinner is not so good!

To the new stack for Rush's 14th album. First time hearing for me and it was a downer. Looks
like I had dropped out back with Moving Pictures about 10 years earlier. Sems to me like Geddy
Lee's voice dropped a few octaves since I last heard him. Those upper ranges are nowhere to be
found here. Whether that's a voice change or just a change in delivery, I don't know. Love the
album cover, which won a Juno Award. This was the groups first album to go top 5 in the US,
since Moving Pictures. This one peaked at #3 here and #10 in the UK, which must mean a #1 in
the homeland. Showing four singles of which Dreamline did the best, but all only showing up on
Billboards Mainstream Rock Chart (not the biggie). At this point I would only pick up any more
Rush albums if they are in the discount bin, which this one was, for $5.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM

Pegelia Gold & Art Zentral - "Someone"
These guys have been creating their own subjugating, distinct and personal sound for years. Its musical roots lie equally in jazz, rock, classical and avant garde.
This song might not be a typical rock song but this thread apparently includes ALL different genres, so if you like something rather light and soft it's worth checking out.

never ever been a fan of rush. not really sure why, maybe its because they sound too perfect or something. also, they have no soul whatsoever. as far as old stuff go's, i've been listening to a lot of the Steve Miller band lately. new stuff, i'd have to say i really like a new artist i came across while listening to Steve Miller Band on internet radio named Nate Sustar. http://natesustar.com/
