When it comes to listening to metal or thrash, whatever it may be, we all have our own opinions and we all have our favorites. So, right now I'm listening to Metallica- For Whom The Bell Tolls, what about you guys?

Looks like I've got some experimenting to do with my music variety because the only one of those bands I've even remotely heard of is Volbeat. Hmm..

These are the albums I've been listening to the most lately. Each album is one of my favourites of each band's discography, so if anyone was going to check out the bands I listed I'd start with these albums. The genres of the albums are (listed in order,) Folk Metal, Symphonic Black Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Atmospheric Black Metal, and Psychedelic Avant-garde Black Metal. Two of the albums are Folk Metal (Steadfast, and Vredens Tid) which is why I listed just five genres.

Forefather - Steadfast
Stormlord - Mare Nostrum
Wintersun - Wintersun
Manegarm - Vredens Tid
Sear Bliss - The Haunting
Sigh - Imaginary Sonicscape

Wolves in the Throne Room, Opeth, Clandestine Blaze. Dordeduh, Nachtysium, Forest Silence, Carpathian Forest...to name a very small recommendation for now!Confusedmile:

I left Metal behind a while ago and got behind. I still love 80's Metallica. I adore System of a Down, Pantera, and....hmmmm...I can't think of much else I've put on in a while.
